Damper drive (SUT) with LON

The ASM 105L and ASM 115L motorised damper drives with Sauter Universal Technology (SUT) and LON-bus capability are used to operate air dampers, cut-off dampers and multi-louvre dampers. The ASM 105L and ASM 115L damper drives are based on the well-proven ASM 105S and ASM 115S. The LON module is slotted onto the SUT drive. The ASM 105L and ASM 115L damper drives provide several interfaces, e.g. for: an Ni1000 temperature sensor; a digital input for switching signals; two analogue voltage inputs for 0…10 V devices; and an analogue voltage output (0…10 V), the measured values and signals of which are made available to the LON network. A plug-in makes it easy to operate and configure the damper drives using a PC and a network-management tool (e.g. LONMakerTM). The maximum torque and holding torque of these drives is 5 Nm on the ASM 105L and 10 Nm on the ASM 115L. Sauter Universal Technology enables the necessary functions to be identified, which permits the actuator to adapt itself to the prevailing control requirements. On reaching the damper or motor end positions, an electronic, torque-dependent facility ensures that the motor is switched off. The disengageable gears permit the damper to be manually positioned and manual adjustments to be made. Power supply is 24 V(AC).
